Overview

Beautiful Screenshots is a macOS and iOS app that allows you to capture screenshots of your screen, edit them, and save them to your computer. We designed it to minimize data collection and keep your content private.

What We Process

• Nothing. There is no analytics or tracking besides standard Apple metrics provided by the App Store.

How Images Are Handled

On capture, the image is processed locally on your device. No data is sent to any servers.

Metadata We May Collect

When purchasing via the Mac App Store, Apple processes payment; we receive entitlement status, not your full payment details.

Accessibility Permission

Required solely to capture screenshots of your screen. On iOS access to Photos is required to access saved screenshots.

Your Choices

• Revoke Accessibility permission at any time (core functionality will not work without it).

Data Retention

Account/billing and usage metadata: retained as long as necessary for service delivery, security, and legal obligations.

Security

• Principle of least privilege in app sandboxing.

Children’s Privacy

Not directed to children. Do not use if you are under the age required by your jurisdiction without parental consent.

International Transfers

Depending on your location and chosen AI provider, processing may occur in other countries with different data protection laws.

Third‑Party Providers

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted in‑app or on our website with a new effective date.
